The closed design and slip-resistant, ribbed outsole ensure reliable grip and maximum stability. The sturdy steel toe cap protects the toes and front of the foot from impacts up to 200 joules. The material is oil and grease resistant and waterproof, allowing for easy and thorough cleaning. Both the sandals and the cork and latex footbed are washable, enabling daily disinfection. The anatomically shaped original Birkenstock footbed protects joints and tendons and is washable up to 30°C. The footbed is also available separately and can be replaced if necessary.
The A640 model is certified according to EN ISO 20345:2011 SB E (SRC category), ensuring compliance with European standards for work footwear.
Care Instructions: Use a damp cloth for cleaning and air dry. Avoid direct heat sources and harsh cleaning agents.
