At Pharsol, d. o. o., we are aware of the importance of the privacy of data of our customers. All personal data communicated to us are handled in a fair manner and carefully protected in line with the current legislation of the Republic of Slovenia, GDPR as well as the principles and vision of our company.

During just a single visit to our online store, vast quantities of data are exchanged. We have drawn up the below policy in order to facilitate your understanding of what this means for you, how the data is collected, stored and processed and to acquaint you with your rights associated with such data.

Your personal data can only be accessed by deliberately selected employees of Pharsol d.o.o. and its authorized subcontractors, while their access is restricted exclusively to the scope and purpose necessary for the uninterrupted execution of work and the sales processes and marketing purposes in line with the consent.

Our sales are conducted via the www.pharsol-protect.com Online Store (hereinafter the Online Store). In the processing of personal data, we strive for the legality and a fair approach, which also includes the restriction of access to information.

For the implementation of the purposes indicated under Item 5, your personal data can be accessed exclusively by authorized PHARSOL d.o.o. employees, who are evaluated as credible and competent in the field of data handling, as well as authorized contractors, with whom we collaborate for the purpose of providing technical support.

This includes:
- Providers of Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram advertising,
- Website, information services and web interface maintenance staff,
- Software solution developers and implementers,
- Pošta Slovenije, DPD and DHL delivery services,
- National authorities and other legal entities based on a legal obligation.

An agreement on the processing and protection of personal data has been concluded with every authorized subcontractor. All authorized employees and subcontractors are located in the European Union.

We guarantee that all authorized persons handle personal data in a diligent manner and protect it from misuse throughout the period of lawful processing. Rarely, your personal data can also be transmitted to third parties, but only in cases when the non-disclosure of data would result in the general or your personal damage, or when you yourself require such a transmission of your personal data to a third party.



How is your personal data collected?

Personal data is received in the following manners:

Upon subscribing to the e-newsletter via the form at www.pharsol-protect.com. With this registration method, your data is transmitted automatically or via the MailChimp/MailerLite app into the main electronic data base within 1 day.
By registering at www.pharsol-protect.com via the online form. With this registration method, your data is transmitted into the main electronic data base within 1 week.
Upon the use of the www.pharsol-protect.com website and its subpages. In this case, the data is collected via web cookies. More information on cookies is provided below.
Occasionally via contests and activities, where the user is always made aware of the purpose of collection and use of personal data.

Via social media and other marketing tools, such as apps, where the user is always made aware of the purpose of collection and use of personal data.

Through your questions communicated via e-mail, ordinary mail or other communication methods which are based on personal data.



Which data is collected?

For the further use and processing, the following data is collected and stored:

- E-mail used to subscribe to the e-newsletter,
- User name and password,
- Basic personal data used in the registration (name, surname, address, mobile number),
- Additional data used for billing in the Online Store (payment card number, validity date, CVV code, tax number, delivery and billing address),
- Data on purchases and transactions (type and number of purchased and returned products, date of purchase),
- Personal experience and opinions on products,
- Questions and comments, media content, geolocation data and other data provided by you,
- Data from social media transmitted to us through the interaction with the Pharsol Protect Facebook page, Pharsol protect LinkedIn profile and @pharsolprotect Instagram profile,
- Your personal data acquired through publicly accessible sources, including data from social networks,
- Other data transmitted in the context of your queries at your own initiative (the products you are searching for or looking at in the online store).



Purpose of personal data processing and legal basis

Personal data is collected and processed for own purposes associated with the sale and promotion via the Online Store in the territory of the European Union as well as across the globe. The data is collected for the following purposes:

- Communication of information on news, notifications and products via e-mail,
- Implementation of requested services (e.g., sending of online news, notifications on product availability etc.) via the selected media (e.g., e-mail or phone number),
- Sale and transactions in the purchase process via the Online Store or queries that you transmit through e-mail, social networks or which you pose personally at our establishment,
- Management of your participation in various promotional advertising activities (e.g., contests, surveys etc.),
- Execution of our joint contract in the purchase process in the Online Store (e.g., for the purpose of delivery of products purchased at our Online Store),
- Execution of other obligations agreed upon with us,
- Compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., billing),
- Verification of identity in order to prevent fraud,
- Assuring that the website content and functionality are adapted to your preferences and needs to the highest possible degree,
- Displaying of relevant ads via rented social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram),
- Website administrative management,
- Conducting of surveys and website analyses using online analytics tools.

Upon purchase, the safety of personal data is also provided for with compliance with current regulatory requirements and recommendations by the Slovenian and international consumer associations.



How is data recorded on our website?

Upon your visit to the website, in order to provide for the best possible functionality, quality and collecting of general statistics on the use of the website, certain data is collected – i.e., data on your device, which are recorded without the use of cookies and code implemented in the website.
This data includes data on the type of the device used for browsing (mobile, tablet, personal computer or other), your IP address, browser and operating system type, your activity on our website (e.g., which subpages were visited, your navigation through the website, duration of individual website visit etc.).

All data collected based on your visit is expressed exclusively in the form of an identification number, preventing the identification of the actual personal data of the user from such an identification number. Your data that is received based on your visit to the website is therefore safe. In order to obtain accurate data, we require your explicit permission (e.g., forwarding of newsletter subscription e-mail).

All of your personal data collected during our cooperation can be examined, adjusted, or alternatively, its deletion requested, via e-mail at info@pharsol.com.

Personal data also encompasses web cookies. During your use of our website, one or more cookies are transmitted to your device – small text files made up of alphanumeric characters. Specifically, session cookies or persistent cookies may be used.

In this case, your data is used for the purpose of displaying ads that might be of the most relevance to you based on the social network perceived activity.



Google Analytics

For the purpose of collecting data on the state and visit to our online store, we use the Google Analytics tool. The data collected by the tool refers to your use of our website (i.e., starting URL, screen resolution, browser used etc.) while it is stored and analysed at the Google server. All of this data is available to us via the Google Analytics tool in an anonymized format. User-created content

On the website, users can submit product reviews. The user is required to enter an arbitrary alias which is made public – for the purpose of protecting personal data, it is recommended to make a suitable choice of the alias under which you wish to post your reviews. Posting a review also requires the entry of an e-mail address, which will not be made public. You need to be aware of the fact that your review will be publicly available at our website and also posted for the purpose of promotion, if necessary, at the Pharsol Protect Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram profiles.

Alongside the above-mentioned data collection options which result from the functioning of the website, your personal data can also be collected exclusively through your active queries or orders (e.g., during online order).



How long is your personal data stored?

Your personal data will be kept for as long as an interest/need exists or until your consent is revoked. In the cases where the processing and storing of data are based on a contract or required by law, the storing period is adjusted according to the contract or legislation.

In case of reasonable suspicion that the entered data is false, we reserve the right to delete it from every data base without prior notice.



What are your rights?

You have the right to require at any time and without explanation the amendment, adjustment or restriction of the use of your data, or to remove it from our data base. Similarly, you can also request access to or object to the processing of your personal data, and furthermore, require the transmission of your data. The withdrawal of consent does not impact the lawfulness of the processing which was conducted based on the consent until the moment of its withdrawal. If you believe that your personal data is stored or processed contrary to current regulations governing the protection of personal data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.

The request for the complete deletion of your personal data from our system can be submitted in the following ways, accompanied by an unambiguous indication of the purpose of your request:

- Click the “Unsubscribe” link in the e-newsletter footer;
- Send a written request via e-mail at info@pharsol.com with the subject “Subscription cancellation”;
- Send a written request via ordinary mail to our company headquarters with the subject “Subscription cancellation;

After having received your request, the processing of your personal data will be ceased within 5 work days.

Even though we strive to provide for the safety of your data in the company, as a result of various factors which are not completely in our control, it must be taken into account that the online flow of information will never be completely safe and in line with our operations. As a result, we ask that you exercise caution and complete every transmission of the data entered into online forms in a responsible manner.
The Pharsol Protect Privacy Policy enters into force on 15 December 2020.
